THE NEW ALBUM

DARK DAYS EP

The Dark Days EP was recorded in Memphis with Grammy nominated producer Justin Rimer, formerly with the band 12 Stones.  Lead vocalist Buster Grant and bassist Rob Ferebee, a former long-time lead vocalist of Freakhouse, collaborated with Justin and several talented studio musicians to bring this EP to life.

As Buster and Rob put the Livin' Dark Daze lineup together they were met with no shortage of challenges.  "Each of the songs on this album take a special level of musicianship", says Buster, "and you can't just get anyone in town to pull it off.  This is the highest level of studio talent in the country and we've got to find that same level of talent in our hometown."

Buster had already recruited his long-time bandmate Albert Arguelles on guitar to pair with Rob.  A number of others had short tenure until the decision was made to add two more guitarists.  Chris Cabello and Justin Ervine were added to the lineup having solid stage experience and the sheer talent needed to fill out the massive sound LDD is known for.

The final gap was a drummer that could mimic the likes of some of the best talent in Memphis having worked with the best on the EP.  Justin approached David McGilvrey, ex-Deathdodger and current alternate for Even In Death, about the gig.  David quickly recorded a playthrough and the current lineup was solidified.

The band is working on new material being self produced at the studio of drummer David McGilvrey, who has been a long time producer working with the likes of The Crowned, Even In Death, Suicide Silence, among others.
